Bike Tuning Parts Conical Bottle Cages Carbon or Aramid

Designed for the dedicated gram counter, these cages require conical bottles, but any conically shaped bottle (Tacx, Zefal, Il Diavolo, Roto, Polysport, Plastica Sole) will work. They come in two flavors. The "practical" choice is a carbon fiber model, shown on the left. This cage weighs in at 10g, including the aluminum mounting bolts. It has a degree of flexibility, but offers a surprisingly secure grip on your bottle. In fact, with both of these cages, we suggest wiping them down with "Armor All®" occasionally. Otherwise sugary energy drinks can cause your bottle to become stuck tightly in the cage!

For the devoted "Gram Geek" BTP also makes an Aramid (Kevlar®) version, shown below.. Complete with bolts this cage weighs an astonishing 6 grams. It is also much more flexible than the carbon fiber model. Definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but a must have for those who only equip their rides with "The World’s Lightest Everything".
